Behavioural Training, Seminars, and Demonstration
Behavioural training is available on an individual basis, including teaching horses to load into wagons and trailers. Horses trained to load, can then be loaded single handed and will travel more quietly, due to being more coordinated.
More general training courses are also provided for owners, to cover general behavioural problems including leading in-hand, loading, picking up feet and becoming more confident.
Seminars and demonstrations are organised on request, to cover theory of equitation, assessing the horse’s paces and natural horsemanship techniques. These courses are planned around the needs of delegates and can include their own horses.
Horses teaching effective communication
Henri Plag provides bespoke personal training to improve interpersonal skills, using horses as a teaching tool. These sessions are useful for both, individuals as well as corporate teams.
Horses are very good at responding to human emotions, and reflecting them in their responses. They teach awareness of body language and therefore awareness of the needs of others. These courses are suitable for non-riders and riders alike, and involve NO riding.
They are complemented through further interpersonal training provided by Desiderata Coaching Ltd. They offer life coaching as well as team support for business, including psychological profiling, so help use everyone’s talents to their full potential.
