Henri Plag is an unusual equine trainer, who combines natural horsemanship principles with correct German dressage training.

After early years, training in Germany for both elements, she qualified in the UK to BHS Intermediate Instructor, BHS stable Manager and RDASI standard.

The BHSII is a riding teacher qualification which means Henri has been examined in the training of horses and the teaching of riders to competition levels in all three disciplines of dressage, show jumping and cross country.

The BHSSM means Henri is a competent stable manager and able to care for all types of horses, ages and sexes in a variety of situation.

The RDASI, is a Senior instructor certificate, specialising in teaching riders with Disabilities.

Henri has competed in all three disciplines in the past, but specifically competed professionally in dressage up to advanced level.

She was also a listed, i.e. official, dressage judge for ten years.

Lessons and Schooling

Henri Plag provides training for riders on her horses and also for owner riders.

She specialises in achieving in the rider a supple, light and well balanced position, which then allows light aids to be used to the best effect. More

Behavioural Training, Seminars, and Demonstration

Behavioural training is available on an individual basis, including teaching horses to load into wagons and trailers.

Horses trained to load, can then be loaded single handed and will travel more quietly, due to being more coordinated. More

Henri Plag provides bespoke personal training to improve interpersonal skills, using horses as a teaching tool. These sessions are useful for both, individuals as well as corporate teams. More
